Travel and rooms

Make a long weekend of it — New Orleans is the best city in the world, worth spending a little extra time in.

i.

Arriving

Fly into Louis Armstrong International (MSY) — well-connected from most major cities. From the airport, a 20-minute Uber will get you to your hotel.

ii.

Getting around

Skip the rental car. The city is best taken on by foot, by streetcar, or by rideshare. The St. Charles line rolls through the Garden District — well worth a ride.

iii.

Where to stay

Look in the Garden District, Lower Garden District, or French Quarter for the easiest access to the venue and the rest of the city.

  • Hotel Henrietta Our hotel block — a lovely boutique stay.
  • Hampton Inn Right next door to the Henrietta.
  • Airbnb Garden District or Uptown for a residential feel.

Questions

  1. Garden party attire. Think spring colors, florals, linen suits, sundresses — whatever makes you feel festive. New Orleans in March is typically mild and lovely (highs around 70°F), but evenings can be cool, so bring a light layer.

  2. Our venue is small, so we can only accommodate those named on the invitation. If you received a plus-one, it'll be noted there.

  3. Our venue is small and intimate, so we can only host those named on the invitation. Adults only, please.

  4. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft. No need to worry about parking.

  5. Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM. The ceremony will begin at 5:15 PM.

  6. A bit of both. Mosquito Supper Club is a beautiful converted New Orleans home with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. We'll make the most of both, weather permitting.

  7. We'd love for you to make a long weekend of it. New Orleans has so much to offer — check out our field guide for our favorite spots.
